Artificial Intelligence is reshaping our world.

From healthcare and business innovation to education, sports technology, women’s empowerment, and social impact, AI is becoming one of the most powerful tools for the next generation of innovators.

The AI Youth Innovation Challenge 2026, launched by AAWEA (Asian American Women Entrepreneurs Association), is designed to encourage students around the world to use Artificial Intelligence to solve real-world problems, develop innovative thinking, cultivate entrepreneurial spirit, and create meaningful social impact.

We believe that the most important skill of the future is not simply knowing how to use AI, but knowing how to create value with AI.

This competition provides young innovators with a platform to showcase ideas, connect with mentors, engage with industry leaders, gain practical experience, and transform creative concepts into impactful solutions.

Our goal is to help students move beyond learning AI and begin creating the future.

Cultivate Future Innovation Leaders

Encourage students to identify challenges, develop solutions, and create positive impact through AI.

Promote Interdisciplinary Innovation

Integrate technology, business, healthcare, sports, education, and social issues to inspire creative problem-solving.

Build a Youth Entrepreneurship Ecosystem

Provide mentorship, industry connections, practical opportunities, and long-term support for promising projects.

Connect Schools, Businesses, and Communities

Create a collaborative innovation platform that bridges education, industry, and society, giving students access to real-world project experiences.

The competition is open to students worldwide.

Junior Division Ages 13–15

Senior Division Ages 16–18

Participation Format

Individual Entry

Registration Fee: $25 per participant

Team Entry

2–5 students per team

Registration Fee: $45 per team

Teams may be: Same-school teams / Cross-school teams / Cross-region teams

Competition Tracks

All projects must use Artificial Intelligence as a core component of the solution.

Track 1: AI Business & Entrepreneurship

Use AI to drive business innovation and market growth.

Suggested areas include: Retail / E-Commerce / Food & Beverage / Financial Services / Education / Content Creation / Brand Marketing / Digital Economy

Track 2: AI Healthcare & Wellness

Use AI to improve healthcare services and personal well-being.

Suggested areas include: Health Management / Mental Health / Medical Assistance / Rehabilitation / Aging Services / Digital Healthcare

Track 3: AI Women & Family Impact

Use AI to support women, children, and families.

Suggested areas include: Women’s Health / Maternal Care / Parenting Support / Family Management / Career Development / Caregiving Solutions

Track 4: AI Sports & Lifestyle

Use AI to enhance performance and quality of life.

Suggested areas include: Sports Technology / Athletic Training / Healthy Living / Nutrition Management / Smart Lifestyle Tools

Projects will be evaluated online by the judging panel.
